• DESCRIPTION OF THE RACE:
  The 8th Annual Par Fore the Course is a two-part competition where a skier’s improvement over the course of the season is rewarded. Following the second Par Fore the Course race on February 28th, prizes will be awarded for most improved against the handicap, fastest time, most improved in class, and overall class champion.
  
  This freestyle race is a self-paced individual start and a great opportunity for "novice" skiers to try their luck with racing. If you've never raced before, this would be a great chance to try it out.
  
  The Par Fore the Course is a tribute to area skier Sharon Nofziger who died suddenly in Nov. 2000 of an aneurysm while skiing. The race takes place on “Zig-Zag”, Sharon’s favorite Mt. Bachelor trail. Come join us in remembering a special person who gave so much to the sport of Nordic skiing.
• RACE DIVISIONS & DISTANCE
  The race will be broken into four divisions. The distance for each division is highlighted.
  • Youth 13 & Under (3km)
  • J2 Boys (5km)
  • All Women J2 & Older (5km)
  • All men J1 & Older (10km)
• ENTRY FEE (per person)
  • Age 20 & Older $15.00
  • Age 14-19 $10.00
  • All Junior 13 & Younger Classes $8.00
• LATE ENTRY FEE (per person)
  • Registrations received after 02/25/2009 will have a $5.00 late fee added.
• LIABILTY RELEASE
  Liability releases are valid for the entire 2008-2009 season when properly filled out. Minors, ages 17 & under, must have a parent's signature for the release to be valid for the season. The liability release is available here or call the MBSEF office at (541) 388-0002 to have one mailed or faxed.
