• DESCRIPTION OF THE RACE:
  The pursuit is an exciting race format that has been featured on the World Cup and in the Olympics. The race begins with a mass start classic leg and then after a triathlon style transition, concludes with a skate leg.
  
  Skiers have the option of participating as an individual or as a team. The start will be divided into waves based on age and gender categories. Prizes will be awarded for both individuals and teams. For those of you who haven't yet participated in a skiathlon make sure you make time for this one. 
• RACE DIVISIONS & DISTANCE
  • Saturday, January 9, 2010 
    • All Youth 15 & Under (3km+3km)
    • All Racers 16 & Older (6km+6km)
    • Competitors can participate as a two-person team in any age category.
    • Classic then Skate
    
    Race starts at 10:00 a.m. from the Mt. Bachelor Nordic Center.
• ENTRY FEE 
  • Seniors & Masters Age 20 & Older $15.00 per person 
  • All Juniors 14-19 $10.00 per person
  • All Youth 13 and under $8.00 per person

• LATE ENTRY FEE (per person)
• Registrations received after 1/6/2010 & day of race will have a $5.00 late fee added. Online registration will be available until 1/7/2010.
• LIABILTY RELEASE
  Liability releases are valid for the entire 2009-2010 season when properly filled out. Minors, ages 17 & under, must have a parent's signature for the release to be valid for the season.
